Adam joined ITV as Chief Executive in April 2010 and shortly afterwards launched a plan to turn ITV into a stronger and more balanced company which is less dependent on the advertising market.
Six years on ITV has been transformed into a high growth business with increasing emphasis on international content creation and distribution, and is demonstrably much stronger, creatively, commercially and financially. Over that time Group revenue has increased by 58%, of which non-advertising revenue now accounts for around half, and adjusted EPS has risen by 817%.
Adam has been a CEO for over 20 years across 4 industries and prior to ITV, he was Chief Executive of Royal Mail, where he led its modernisation and transformed it from a heavily loss making position to profitability, he has also been CEO of The Football Association between 2000 and 2002 as well as joint CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi from 1995-2000.
Jane Turton was appointed All3Media CEO in 2015 following the acquisition of the business by Discovery and Liberty Global. Jane joined All3Media in 2008 as Director of Business Development and Business Affairs, becoming COO in 2011. Jane previously held positions as Director of Commercial and Business Affairs at ITV Network and Director of Business Affairs at ITV Studios. Jane is on the Board of PACT and is a member of the RTS Board of Trustees.
CEO, Channel 4
David Abraham became Channel 4’s sixth Chief Executive in May 2010.
His focus on Channel 4’s unique remit and on its market leading commercial and digital innovation has steered the corporation into long-term financial sustainability with revenues above £900m since 2011 enabling record content investment since 2012. This has supported a major creative overhaul attracting over 15m registered viewers and a record number of major industry awards.
In 2014 David gave the prestigious MacTaggart Lecture at the Edinburgh TV Festival on the importance of Public Service Broadcasting to British Creativity.
Previously David was CEO at UKTV between 2007-2010 where he masterminded the launch of Dave laying the foundation for repositioning the entire 10 channel network; at Discovery Networks USA between 2005-2007 he led the revival of cable channel TLC as its President and General Manager; and before heading to the US, David led Discovery Networks UK as General Manager during a four year period of rapid growth from 2001.
David was a founding partner of the influential independent advertising agency St Luke’s.
He is a member of the Creative Skillset Board and of BAFTA.

Until recently Claire was CEO of Warner Bros. TV having spent 13 years assembling & growing the Group.
Claire joined Wall to Wall as Commercial & Legal Director where she established & lead WtW’s distribution division, selling WtW to AIM listed Shed Media PLC in 2007 & taking dual roles of MD for WtW and Commercial Director for the Group and a place on the PLC Board. In 2010, via a WB backed MBO, Shed de-listed from AIM and she became COO, having been part of the team that orchestrated the event. She was promoted to CEO on the successful completion WB’s 100% ownership.
Claire also serves as Non Executive Director of AIM listed Reach4Entertainment PLC.
President & MD, Discovery Networks UK & Ireland, CCO International
Susanna was appointed President and MD, Discovery Networks UK and Ireland and COO, International in October 2016.
She is responsible for the management and strategic direction of Discovery in the UK with 14 channel brands and for leading the International Content Group, Discovery’s London based production and development department.
Prior to joining Discovery in 2009, Susanna held a series of senior roles over 10 years at Channel Five. She is on the board of All3media and Chair of COBA.

Ralph Rivera joined Eurosport as Executive Vice President / Managing Director for Eurosport Digital in September 2016 after six years with BBC Digital.
Prior to re-locating to the BBC in 2010, Ralph was SVP/GM Games, International Programming at Aol in the United States, a company at which he worked for over a decade.
A digital media executive with extensive experience building and operating highly-scaled, global online businesses, Ralph is a results-orientated leader with a strong track record of success spanning corporate, divisional, consulting and start-up environments.
One of Ralph’s tasks at Discovery Networks will be to emulate the success of the BBC iPlayer by giving viewers and users an enhanced Eurosport.com and Eurosport Player experience.
CEO, Endemol Shine UK
Richard Johnston is CEO of Endemol Shine UK, the country’s largest independent production company. The UK group is comprised of a diverse range of companies and labels producing over 2000 hours of content a year across a range of platforms.
Richard was appointed CEO in 2015 having overseen the merger of Endemol and Shine in the UK. Prior to this he held several senior positions within Endemol including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Richard is a Trustee of LAMDA, a Board member for Creative Skillset and an elected member of the Pact Council.

Prior to co-founding Youngest, David Flynn was Chief Creative Officer of Endemol Shine UK, responsible for overseeing creativity across the group. He created and executive produced innovative global hit The Million Pound Drop, which travelled to 54 territories and won a Bafta for digital creativity, and co-created and executive produced BBC1 hit Pointless, interactive talent show The Singer Takes It All and factual entertainment event Seven Days on the Breadline amongst other titles. Hendrik McDermott is Senior Vice President, Branded On Demand at NBCUniversal International. Here he leads an entrepreneurial digital business unit focused on the company’s branded video on-demand (VOD) and over the top (OTT) services, and is primarily responsible for developing and bringing new direct-to-consumer television products to market.
In this role, McDermott leads hayu, NBCU’s next generation reality on-demand service, which launched in the UK, Ireland and Australia in March 2016.
Managing Director, Content, Sky
Gary was appointed Managing Director, Content in January 2015. He has responsibility for Sky’s entertainment, movies and news channels in the UK and Ireland as well as the entire entertainment offering of Sky Deutschland where he has been Executive Vice President Programming since 2010. Gary has worked as a senior executive in the international pay TV industry holding senior roles in Europe, Asia and the US including Managing Director of BSkyB in England and CEO of STAR TV in Hong Kong.

Executive Producer & VP, Mattel
Rob Hudnut is an Executive Producer and VP for Mattel Creations. In his nineteen years at Mattel Rob has created entertainment for Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, American Girl, Polly Pocket, Masters of the Universe and other Mattel brands. He is currently in charge of global creative strategy.
In 2000 Rob co-wrote “Barbie in The Nutcracker”, the first Barbie movie. He has since executive produced an additional 27 titles that have sold over 160,000,000 copies worldwide and sold billions of dollars in toys. Rob is also an Emmy-nominated songwriter who has co-written most of the songs in the Barbie movies, as well as songs for Hot Wheels and Fisher-Price. Most recently Rob and his team developed and served as executives in charge of production on “DC Superhero Girls” for DC and Warner Bros, which has launched to great success.
Rob is a winner of the Mattel Chairman’s Award for extraordinary contributions to the company.
Rob is a Princeton University graduate. Prior to coming to Mattel, he developed and co-executive produced the television series “Mighty Max” and “Captain Simian”.

David Lynn has been CEO of Viacom International Media Networks since January.
Previously, he was President of VIMN UK, Northern and Eastern Europe, covering Viacom’s operations in 33 European countries; the group grew profitability in every year from 2010 onwards.
Lynn led the acquisition of Channel 5 in 2014. Under his management, Channel 5 has reported the highest operating profit in its history.
Previously, Lynn served as Managing Director for Nickelodeon UK and held a variety of management roles for Paramount Comedy Channel.
Aksel van der Wal
EVP Digital Ventures & Innovation International, Turner
Aksel’s remit is to drive profitable growth through consumer centric and data driven initiatives. His responsibilities include Turner’s international suite of digital properties and services and its direct to consumer product strategy, as well as identifying new opportunities and deciding on how to engage with them, through technological product innovation, investments and/or acquisitions. He also oversees the company’s international technology & operations organisation.
Previously Turner’s chief financial officer for International, Aksel joined Turner in 2014 as senior vice president of finance for EMEA.
Chief Data Scientist, Channel 4
Greg trained as a computational neuroscientist at Princeton, putting people in brain scanners to try and understand why they forget things.
He co-founded Memrise.com, which has helped millions of people around the world learn hundreds of languages and been featured internationally from the New York Times to the BBC. He went on lead the Data Science team at The Guardian, and ran the engineering team at digital health company Big Health/Sleepio in San Francisco.
In 2016, he joined Channel 4 as Chief Data Scientist, working on ways to use data to help both creative and commercial teams.
Laura Jordan Bambach
CCO, Mr President
For 20 years, Laura has brought her fresh and experimental approach to digital. Combining tech insights with passionate storytelling, she has won numerous awards for her commercial work and been recognised globally as an innovator and industry leader.
In 2016, Laura proved her creative prowess when she co-founded The Great British Diversity Project, which went on to prove the power of diversity for creative effectiveness; Cannes Lions Innovation seminar on the human heart of innovation; sitting on key international juries from the ANDYS and SXSW to LIAAS, and being invited as keynote speaker at major festivals around the world.
In 2014 she was President of the D&AD, where she worked to expand its international charitable capability and partnerships. This resulted in her scooping the Individual of the Year at the Dadi Awards 2014 and even been awarded an honorary doctorate for her services to graphic design. She has recently been named one of Britain’s most influential people within the Debrett’s 500 annual list for the second year running.
Under her stewardship as Chief Creative Officer, Soho based agency, Mr. President has recently been awarded Creative Agency of the Year by the IAB and AdAge International Small Agency of the Year, silver; as well as their first D&AD pencil: fine achievements for an agency just three years old.
Laura is also a co-founder of SheSays, a global volunteer network with over 40,000 members which works to get more women into the creative industries.
Laura lectures around the world extensively and was recently invited to be part of a select group of global creatives forming the Facebook Creative Council, a think tank to help steer the future of social.

Wim is responsible for defining and implementing Endemol Shine Group’s global strategy, working closely with the company’s local leaders and partners around the world. His remit includes identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including acquisitions and expansion into new markets, whilst tracking and leveraging market trends and driving the group’s digital endeavours.
It also includes overseeing the Group’s commercial, M&A, Endemol Shine Beyond and research teams. Previous roles include a number of senior positions at Yahoo EMEA and Coca Cola.

Michael Edelstein transitioned from a successful producing career in the US to become President of NBCUniversal International Studios in 2010. He has built NBCUniversal International Studios into one of the premier English language content suppliers outside the US, overseeing a diverse portfolio that includes Carnival Films, Monkey, Matchbox Pictures and joint ventures with Working Title Television, Heyday Television and Lark Productions. Michael also oversees NBCUniversal International Formats, which licenses and produces premium content in over 70 territories worldwide. Prior to this role, he won two Golden Globes for his work as Executive Producer on Desperate Housewives, which he launched for ABC in 2004.

John is chief executive of Factory 42, an immersive content and experience studio. Previously he spent 10 years in senior roles at Sky launching and running new channels and technology. He is on the board of the International Advanced Imaging Society in LA and the Almeida Theatre in London.

Damian Collier is a social video entrepreneur and the Founder/CEO of Blend Media. Zachary Slatter joins AwesomenessTV as Head of European Distribution working with key international broadcasters and platforms to help drive the company’s international expansion. Zachary joined AwesomenessTV from NBCUniversal’s Digital Distribution team, where he was VP of International New Media, EMEA and successfully partnered with leading local and global players. In October 2012, Tim Davie was announced as the incoming Chief Executive of BBC Worldwide and took up his post in April 2013.
He was made Acting BBC Director-General on 10 November 2012.
Prior to this Tim was Director of BBC Audio & Music where he had overall responsibility for the BBC’s national radio services including Radios 1, 2, 3, 4 and its digital services as well as music output and performing groups.
Tim was appointed to the role of Director, Audio & Music on 1 September 2008.

Guy Bisson has more than 20 years’ experience as a leading entertainment market analyst with a specialisation in the global television business. He is a regular speaker and moderator at many of the World’s leading entertainment business conferences, a frequent media commentator and author of numerous reports and research articles on the business and strategy of the television industry. In recent years, Guy has had a particular focus on quantifying and forecasting the impact of OTT television on the traditional media players and has written a series of ground-breaking reports on the topic. Guy previously led the television research practice at Screen Digest and IHS and is now Research Director of Ampere Analysis, a London-based research company with a global focus on television and new media that is combining, for the first time, big data analytics, consumer research and industry analysis.

Fabian Birgfeld is the CEO and co-founder of the digital design agency, W12 Studios, with offices in London and New York. With over 20 years of experience he has designed, developed and launched next generation digital experiences for companies such as Bertelsmann, Intel, Citibank, and the BBC among others, prior to founding W12. He was awarded the D&AD yellow pencil and the TV of Tomorrow’s Individual Leadership Prize. He is also an Intel Capital mentor. He holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University and a graduate degree in Architecture from Princeton University.
EMEA Regional Director, Facebook
After running a number of global brands across Unilever, Diageo and Coca-Cola, Rob Newlan joined Facebook six years ago to set up its Creative Shop across the EMEA region. There he has built a team of creative directors, planners, producers and data scientists who partner with brands, big and small, to help bring to life creative ideas across all of Facebook’s family of apps and services.
Newlan also spends much of his time traveling around the region to promote and explain the opportunities for crafting great work for mobile feeds, speaking at industry events and serving as a jury member at major awards shows.

Jon Gisby is a digital media executive who has spent twenty years building, leading and transforming companies that create and deliver premium digital content. He was one of the many architects of the BBC’s digital strategy, ran the content and services at Freeserve and was MD of Yahoo! UK and ran their media products across Europe. He was appointed to the board of Channel 4 and led the teams that built 4oD into the UK’s leading commercial VOD service. He is now Head of Europe for Vevo where his teams create content, run and monetize the sites and services for one of the largest distributors of premium video. He is the Chairman of the British Screen Advisory Council and a Trustee of Artichoke Productions, one of Europe’s leading live events producers.

Mailine is part of a global ZOO team that operates across the world for Google to help Google’s biggest client brands and creative agencies effectively exploit Google’s products and platforms to build unique experiences.

She brings over two decades of hybrid experience in brand building and marketing to the table. Her career has taken her around the world, first as a strategic planner at McCann in New York and then as director of international development at Publicis Worldwide. She was one of the founding members of the FullSIX digital network and helped grow the company from a start-up to a leading digital player in Europe. FullSIX has been sold to HAVAS.

Joel Philp is a senior producer at Zoomin Studios, the format creation division of Zoomin.TV, the GenZ skewed global multi-platform producer and network. He is responsible for drawing on Zoomin.TV’s worldwide network of Generation Z creatives to develop and co-produce formats and factual programming for linear TV channels as well as mobile and online platforms.
Joel is an Australian TV producer and journalist with a decade of international experience, including my role managing news bureaus at Sky News. With a background in breaking news, he has spent the past 4 years creating long-form factual programming, with a focus on unlocking the potential of new media. He’s worked as a self-shooting director, journalist, editor and producer, for major global broadcast outlets and online platforms.
Before joining Zoomin Studios, Joel helped launch the Dutch motorcycling platform Motome.nl, which is now a successful television series on Dutch broadcaster RTL, sponsored by some of the biggest motorcycling brands in the world.

Efe founded MUBI, a curated streaming service, after he discovered that he couldn’t watch ‘In the Mood for Love’ in a café in Tokyo. Previously, Efe was with Goldman Sachs in London and New York, where he worked on IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity investments. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, and MBA from Stanford.
Efe ranked 3rd in the 1994 European Math Championship in Geneva, Switzerland. He currently advises Alejo Vidal-Quadras, Vice President of the European Parliament, on Turkey’s accession negotiations with EU.
